MARS assists our clients with a variety of groundwater use and management issues. Understanding groundwater flow is important for designing water supply systems and protecting and enhancing wetland, stream and lake ecosystems. We have extensive experience in analyzing groundwater flow systems and groundwater quality, fulfilling groundwater regulatory requirements, and designing and testing groundwater monitoring and supply wells. Our broad training in all aspects of water resources allows us to specialize in problems concerning the interaction of groundwater and surface water, such as assessing groundwater recharge, designing stormwater infiltration systems, and assessing the impacts of groundwater use on surface water features. Our capabilities include field investigations, Geographic Information System (GIS) analysis, groundwater modeling with analytic element and numerical methods, plus infiltration and recharge modeling with SLAMM, RECARGA and other methods. At MARS, we strive to provide our clients with a big-picture understanding of their groundwater resource issues as well as detailed knowledge and designs to meet their specific needs.
